General Information
Melon is a fruit that provides
little calories and has low contents of sugar, it’s recommended
for diabetic patients, contains antioxidants and protects healthy
fats in the organism. Due to its high content of vitamin E, it’s
considered a protector against lung and prostate cancer.
There are several varieties
according to color, skin thickness, sweetness and size (some may
reach 40 cm in diameter).

Honey Dew: Yellow, smooth and
soft skin. The meat is yellowish, juicy, sugary and crunchy. They
have an oval shape and weigh between 2 and 3 kilograms each.
Mostly are imported from Costa Rica between December and March.

Cantaloupe: Smaller than honey
dew, weighing around 700 grams an 1.5 kilograms. Their skin is
yellow and fine, it presents lengthwise lines that go along its
axis. The pulp has a nice orange color and a very characteristic
smell.
